One research assistant position and Ph.D. scholarship with relevant experience on Si Photonics, Nanophotonics, Mid IR technology and Thermoelectric sensors at Centre for Intelligent Sensors and MEMS (CISM) at National University of Singapore (NUS)

For EDB PhD scholarship candidate, he/she should have earned his/her Ph.D. from top tier engineering/physics schools in the world with the 1st class honor or 2nd upper honor. He/she needs to be Singaporean or Singapore PR. Candidate who is applying Singapore PR now and will get it soon will be qualified for this scholarship as well.

In the case of Research Assistant (RA) candidate, he/she should possess a Master degree or equivalent hands-on experience in the design and measurement of devices such as photonics devices, Mid IR photonics and thermoelectric sensors and thermoelectric power generators. Candidates with sound knowledge of photonic theories will be given higher priority. We highly recommend the successful RA candidate to pursue his/her Doctoral degree in our group as part-time Ph.D student.

In general, the successful candidate is expected to speak and write in English fluently, and is committed to working hard.
